    Lauren great read! This reminds me of a term I learn at Oracle ” one throat to choke”. Today as I speak with marketers they prefer to have a “direct contact” someone who knows their account, their goals and what they are trying to accomplish. A individual that they can talk with and share best practices – or just ask a question. In today’s world of Mergers & Acquisitions it seems like the customer gets the short end of the stick when customers need help. They are getting re-routed to a person who has no idea how to help them, told to watch a video on the help-desk, or get an email back to them with a link to a help site 48-72 hours later.
