Act-On Continues Explosive Growth, Triples Revenue for 2nd Year in a Row

All indicators are going upLate last week we announced record-breaking results for Q4 2012, and indeed for all of 2012. In a nutshell, we have tripled revenue year-over-year for two years in a row. Our platform capacity has mushroomed, and can now handle over 10 billion emails a year. Along with all of this business growth, our employee headcount has more than doubled.

As the founder of this company, it has been incredibly gratifying for me to witness this company’s evolution from a mere idea, to a hot startup, and now to a high-growth company with over 150 employees. I would like to take this moment to pause (something I don’t do very often) and acknowledge all the people responsible for our success.

At the top of the list, our customers and partners. They don’t just drive our top line, they also help guide us forward. Their feedback and suggestions influence our research and development priorities, as well as our longer-term strategy.

Next on the list, our early investors. They took a leap of faith with a small team that was entering a crowded and fragmented market. Since then, they have been true partners, helping me drive this company to achieve its full potential.

And finally, our employees. I was very fortunate in being able to attract ‘A’ players early on. In turn, they have also hired ‘A’ players, so that at this point, we have an amazingly disciplined high-performance team. My job is easy, I just manage by exception, focusing on deviations from the plan, something that does not happen very often.

2013 is shaping up to be another banner year for us. We look forward to working with you on this amazing journey.
